Responsibilities
  • Supervise, evaluate the professional staff and identify the needs and opportunities for their development.

  • Establish priorities for work assignments, monitor progress and ensure that reports/information are delivered in a high quality and a timely manner.

  • Use institutional data and analysis to facilitate planning, decision making and evaluation.

  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research efforts as needed for academic and administrative departments, producing actionable written reports of research findings.

  • Manage building rigorous database to facilitate on-time submission of accurate reports to the Ministry of Education.

  • Support the university in program accreditation, strategic planning, performance management and ranking.

  • Design an annual calendar of on-going and ad-hoc institutional assessment activities.

  • Manage periodic review and quality enhancement of surveys and other assessment tools.

  • Lead automation of data collection and report generation to ensure and enhance efficiency of all operations at the Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness unit.

  • Support the Vice Chancellor for Quality and Institutional Effectiveness to ensure closing the loop of quality enhancement at different levels.
