Responsibilities

Lab Preparation and Maintenance:

  • Set up and maintain labs for student practical sessions.

  • Ensure that all equipment and materials are in good working order and available for student use.

  • Collaborate with faculty to develop and update lab protocols and procedures.

Student Assistance:

  • Assist students during practical sessions, providing guidance on correct techniques and procedures.

  • Offer support in understanding and performing various assessments and exercises.

  • Provide clarification on lab-related queries and assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.

Educational Resource Management:

  • Manage educational resources, including anatomical models, charts, and multimedia materials.

  • Work with faculty to update and organize educational resources to align with the curriculum.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of lab attendance, student performance, and any relevant data.

  • Assist in the preparation and organization of assessment materials for practical examinations.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hygiene standards in the labs.

  • Instruct students on safety protocols and emergency procedures related to lab activities.

Assistance in Research Projects:

  • Collaborate with faculty members and students on research projects conducted within the labs.

  • Assist in data collection and analysis as needed.

Technology Integration:

  • Familiarity with and ability to assist in the use of technology within the lab, such as software for data analysis, simulation tools, and virtual anatomy resources.

Workshop and Seminar Support:

  • Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions within the department.

  • Set up equipment and materials for special events or guest lectures.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling lab sessions, managing equipment inventory, and coordinating with other departments for shared resources.

Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on advancements in education and technology.

  • Attend relevant workshops or training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
