Responsibilities
  • Lead the Simulation Center’s operations by ensuring the establishment, implementation, evaluation, and improvement of high quality and cost-effective processes that facilitate achievement of the system wide simulation goals.

  • Develop and implement the simulation center policies & procedures and standards operating procedure consistent with the educational objectives. 

  • Plan and develop strategies to facilitate simulation resource utilization, growth and effectiveness towards the mission and vision of the center. 

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in curriculum, instructional technologies and operational systems. 

  • Oversee the simulation based courses to ensure imparting quality based education. 

  • Plan and Direct the development of the simulation center by effective budgeting and personnel management. 

  • Oversees daily operations relating to budget, staffing, management of Simulation Center staff. 

  • Provides expert consultation to center staff and organization executives on development of programs and simulations. 

  • Fosters identification of innovative ways to integrate simulation into clinical and medical education 

  • Effectively markets the center and pursues/secures funding sources and achieves the target for the given period. 

  • Provide leadership on daily operations of the center as the Academic and Administrative Head of the simulation center. 

  • Plan, Direct and Motivate research based projects for enhancement of simulation based teaching and development. 

  • Monitor and evaluate performance of faculty, staffs of the center and recommend promotions and training towards development. 

  • Liaise and collaborate with reputed centers to keep abreast with updated simulation based teaching/learning resources, trends and ideas for research and development. 

  • Represent the simulation center for organizational and pertinent meetings. 

  • Submit monthly and/or yearly report to the line authority for effective management decisions.
