Responsibilities

Data Collection:

  • Design and implement data collection processes for assessments, evaluations, and surveys. 

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to gather relevant data, ensuring data quality and integrity. 


Data Analysis: 

  • Analyze assessment and evaluation data using statistical methods and data analysis tools. 

  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement based on the analysis.


Report Generation: 

  • Prepare reports summarizing assessment and evaluation findings. 

  • Present data-driven insights to stakeholders, including faculty, administrators, and accrediting bodies.


Dashboard Development: 

  • Create and maintain dashboards that visually represent assessment and evaluation metrics.

  • Provide user-friendly tools for stakeholders to access and interpret data. 


Benchmarking: 

  • Conduct benchmarking analyses to compare institutional performance against industry standards or peer institutions. 

  • Identify areas where the university excels and areas for improvement based on benchmarking data. 


Assessment Tool Development: 

  • Assist in the development and refinement of assessment tools, surveys, and instruments. 

  • Ensure that assessment instruments align with learning outcomes and institutional goals. 


Data Interpretation: 

  • Collaborate with academic and administrative units to interpret assessment data in the context of programmatic and institutional goals. 

  • Provide insights to support evidence-based decision-making. 


Quality Assurance: 

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of assessment data. 

  • Conduct regular checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies. 


Survey Design: 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and administer surveys related to academic programs, student experiences, and institutional effectiveness. 

  • Analyze survey data to derive meaningful conclusions. 


Data Privacy and Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and university policies. 

  • Implement protocols to safeguard sensitive information during data analysis and reporting. 


Training and Support: 

  • Provide training to faculty and staff on assessment and evaluation processes. 

  • Offer support for understanding and utilizing assessment data for continuous improvement. 


Collaboration with Accreditation Processes: 

  • Support accreditation processes by providing data and evidence of institutional effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with accreditation teams to address data-related requirements. 


Strategic Planning: 

  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing data-driven insights that inform the development and revision of institutional goals.

  • Align assessment efforts with the university's strategic objectives.

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Recommend improvements to assessment processes based on ongoing analysis and feedback.

  • Participate in discussions on refining assessment strategies for continuous improvement. 


Communication:

  • Communicate assessment findings and recommendations effectively to diverse stakeholders.

  • Facilitate discussions on how assessment data can inform changes and improvements.
