 Experienced in delivering wellbeing programs in higher education
 Familiar with UAE regulations and standards for mental health services
 Knowledgeable in stress management, resilience, mindfulness, and burnout prevention

 Analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
 Ability to work independently and inclusively with faculty, staff, and students from different
backgrounds, disciplines, and educational levels.
 Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a diverse multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Lead SWC operations, ensuring quality, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement

of student wellbeing services

 Develop and implement policies and procedures that are aligned with GMU strategy and regulatory

standards

 Plan responsive strategies addressing student stress, anxiety, burnout, and psychological needs

 Oversee counselling, crisis intervention, and mental health services with strict confidentiality

 Coordinate referrals with internal and external medical and psychiatric services

 Design and supervise workshops on stress management, resilience, mindfulness, and study skills

 Collaborate with Student Affairs, Happiness Centers, and Student Council for integrated support

 Promote a campus culture of wellbeing and reduce mental health stigma

 Monitor staff performance and support professional development

 Engage with national and international centers to adopt best practices

 Represent SWC in institutional and external forums
