Responsibilities
Lead SWC operations, ensuring quality, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement
of student wellbeing services
Develop and implement policies and procedures that are aligned with GMU strategy and regulatory
standards
Plan responsive strategies addressing student stress, anxiety, burnout, and psychological needs
Oversee counselling, crisis intervention, and mental health services with strict confidentiality
Coordinate referrals with internal and external medical and psychiatric services
Design and supervise workshops on stress management, resilience, mindfulness, and study skills
Collaborate with Student Affairs, Happiness Centers, and Student Council for integrated support
Promote a campus culture of wellbeing and reduce mental health stigma
Monitor staff performance and support professional development
Engage with national and international centers to adopt best practices
Represent SWC in institutional and external forums
