Responsibilities
Instructional Support:
Assist instructors with the preparation and delivery of lectures, labs, and practical sessions.
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students who need additional help.
Demonstrate clinical procedures and techniques under the supervision of instructors.
Practical Training:
Supervise students during hands-on practice sessions to ensure proper technique and safety.
Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their clinical skills.
Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment and supplies for practical sessions.
Administrative Tasks:
Help with grading assignments, quizzes, and exams as directed by the instructor.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and performance.
Assist with the preparation of instructional materials, including handouts and presentations.
Student Support:
Serve as a resource for students, answering questions and providing guidance on course content.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Encourage and motivate students to achieve their academic and professional goals.
Curriculum Development:
Provide feedback to instructors on the effectiveness of course materials and teaching methods.
Assist in the development and revision of instructional materials and assessments.
Professional Development:
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Stay current with advancements in paramedical education and best practices in teaching.
